Hailing from Birmingham, AL Christinay is an international artist known for her raspy, soulful and yet sultry tones.  She is a singer, songwriter, producer, arranger, actress, vocal coach and choir director.

 

While attending Talladega College she majored in Music and Voice performance, which led her in the direction she has chosen as a career today. She was one of the founding members of the female group, Black & Myld, who released an album entitled, "It's Our Time.”

As part of the trio, they were two time winners of Showtime at the Apollo in NYC and winners of several talent contests. While with the group and as a solo artist she has shared the stage with artist such as Shirley Caesar, Tonex, Frankie Beverly & Maze, X-Scape, Mary J., Brownstone, Monifah, Urban Mystic, Calvin Richardson, Sir Charles Jones, Willie Clayton, Bow Wow, Souljah Boy, Da Brat, Master P, Attitude, T I, Mr. Bigg, Bobby Blue Bland, Billy Soul Bonds and Tony Terry just to name a few.  Also, during her career she has worked with many producers and artists such as the The Legendary, Sarah Dash of La’Belle, Grammy Award Winning  Duo Helen Bruner and Terry Jones, Pup Bolding of Sway Records and G – Child to name a few.

Christinay has toured in Europe with the Gospel Golden Pearls and the Black Gospel Emotions. She commands a live band and performs in several productions when at home.
